Today there are over four million Palestinian refugees spread over the globe. 400 000 of these refugees lives in Lebanon. Right now the forth generation of Palestinians are growing up in camps that the Lebanon government do nothing to help. Children with now future as they can’t attend public schools, no right to a passport and discrimination in a working market. They live in terrible conditions, as officially they have no right to running water, electricity or health care. Since 1948 UNRWA has been the organisation that have helped these people and are still doing so. What is Palestine for these children? A country that their grandparents barley remember and a country occupied by a country that have made it clear that the refugees can’t return. For them being a Palestinian is to be discriminated, a people with no country and the media picturing them as people of terror. Still they hope that one day they can return to a country that was taken away from them more than 50 years ago.
